Attached is a file (click on the post above this) to review our current study of the Passion Narrative... or the Passion of the Christ, which is the time of trial and persecution- leading to the execution and resurrection of Jesus. This study helps us work through some of our tough Lent questions, discussing our own humanity and Christ suffering for our salvation. If you have any questions, please post below, or come join us at 7pm on Wednesday!
Below is some additional stuff I made up to chat over some very early Christian writings. Here is the Didache- which is basically the results of the first church meeting of the early Apostles, and also the Epistle of Clement- who is one of our early church fathers writing to the church at Corinth.
This is a place where you can post any questions, thoughts or comments. If you click on any topic- you can then post any comments, thoughts, questions or ideas. I will write in during the week to these, and I will follow up from our class times- as well as bringing any questions or thoughts here.
Below is the online PDF version of the first book we are working through. This blog can serve as a great place to post your thoughts, start-up a conversation or just ruminate about the general topic. Class time is scheduled on Wednesdays at 7pm- (right after J.A.M. and before choir). We only meet for about 40 minutes per week. Any comments posted here gives the class a time to reflect and discuss- and comments will be shared from class time on the blog- keeping everyone involved. Enjoy!
